The Personal Finance Challenge is an opportunity for high school students to demonstrate their knowledge of Personal Finance by competing with other high school students from around the state. The program includes teacher training, development of a national question bank, national data collection, online rounds of competition, individual state competitions, and a national final. This program was developed by MCEE to support the state-mandated financial literacy graduation requirement. Recognized by teachers and students for sparking a latent passion for financial literacy, the competition is now available nationally with over twenty states participating. MCEE serves as host for the national competition which will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City.
